 Yarra Geotechnics prepares Land Capability Assessment (LCA) reports for residential and commercial properties that cannot connect to reticulated sewer. If council has requested an LCA, septic assessment, onsite wastewater report or effluent disposal advice, we can assess the site conditions and provide practical reporting for your permit or development application. 

 We prepare Land Capability Assessment reports in accordance with EPA Victoria guidance and relevant council requirements. Our assessments consider site conditions, soil characteristics, topography, vegetation, wastewater loading and effluent disposal options. Where required, testing may include percolation testing to assess soil absorption rates and help determine suitable onsite wastewater management options. If site constraints limit the available land for effluent disposal, we can assess practical alternative options and provide recommendations to help support your planning or permit application.
