Yarra Geotechnics prepares Landslip Risk Assessment (LRA) reports and geotechnical declarations for sloping sites, hillside properties, and land affected by an Erosion Management Overlay (EMO) or other landslip-related planning controls. Our reports can support planning permit applications, new dwellings, extensions, subdivisions, retaining walls, and other development proposals where council requires specialised geotechnical input.
We regularly assist clients with landslip and slope stability reporting across the Yarra Ranges, Mornington Peninsula, and other Victorian council areas where EMO or landslide susceptibility controls may affect development. Councils such as Yarra Ranges Council and Mornington Peninsula Shire may require a geotechnical assessment, landslip risk assessment, and declaration by a suitably qualified or Chartered geotechnical engineer before a planning application can progress through council review.
Our assessments consider site slope, ground conditions, drainage, geomorphology, visible signs of instability, existing and proposed development, and the potential impact of construction on slope stability. Our LRA reports are prepared with reference to the Australian Geomechanics Society landslide risk management framework and relevant council requirements.
To request a quote, send us the property address, development plans and council request (RFI) if available. We will review the information and advise the next steps.
